Georges Cziffra

Bittersweet Beauty, if anything this not only gives me a sense of musical therapy, but portrays a silver lining to a fucked up situation.

So, Nessar, something to think about:
Do things always happen for a reason? can something so terrible actually lead to something so miraculous because of some supernatural phenomenon or fate, if you will? Or do thing's just happen, and it's your decision to get over your depression's and give it purpose of self progression and positivity in exchange for it's negativity? .. Until then ..

Georges Cziffra (born 5 November, 1921; died 15 January, 1994), here performing the Valse-Impromptu, composed some time between 1842 and 1852 by Franz Liszt (1811-1886) - via varia

I believe that this performance was recorded in the early 1960s. One can easily see in this footage the leather wristband that Cziffra wore, as a remembrance of his time in labor camp, from 1950 to 1953, as punishment for trying to leave Hungary
